Documentation Your first project

Your first project

New projects start from a template. "Blank Project" has no files at all, and the agent scaffolds whatever you ask for. "React App" gives you a minimal React + TypeScript starter:

React App template
text
my-app/
├── src/
│ ├── App.tsx — root component
│ └── index.css — Tailwind directives
└── package.json — react, react-dom (+ vite in devDependencies)
You don't need index.html or main.tsx for the dev preview. If they're missing, the preview generates an entry point that renders src/App. Other templates include a landing page, an API dashboard, and Capacitor starters for iOS/Android (camera, push notifications, geolocation).
Adding packages: list them in package.json, or ask the agent to add them. The dev preview fetches whatever dependencies are listed there. The terminal's npm install is simulated and doesn't install anything.
What to build first
  • A landing page: describe your product and let the agent generate the layout
  • A dashboard: ask for charts, tables, and mock data
  • An API integration: paste a curl example and ask the agent to build the UI around it
  • A CRUD app backed by your own Supabase project (see Backend)
